With a profound literary foundation and interdisciplinary creative background, she integrates poetic philosophy into the language of ink, forming a style that is both contemplative and spiritually resonant. She studied at the Institute of Contemporary Ink Art, Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, and the Advanced Program of Cross-Media Art, China Academy of Art.

Chiang once embarked on a three-year journey cycling around the world, visiting over forty countries across five continents. She has published more than ten books and written regular art and literary columns. Her lived experiences are transformed into dual expressions of poetry and painting. Since devoting herself fully to art in 2014, she has upheld the belief in “poetic inquiry into truth,” exploring the boundaries of existence, time, and the mind through the flow of ink.

Her creative trajectory unfolds along three major series:

• Ocean in My Heart Series — Inspired by her deep encounters with the sea, each painting unfolds as an epic journey of self-discovery and embodied perception.

• Hidden Tao Series — Merging calligraphic expressiveness with diverse techniques, Chiang explores the subtle transformations of “Tao” as it flows through modern life.

• iNetwork Series — By Intertwining ink, text, and installation, Chiang creates contemplative spaces beyond algorithmic logic and respond poetically to the digital-age consciousness.

Since 2020, Chiang has lived and worked in the mountains, immersed in clouds and solitude. Her works have received numerous international awards and are held in various museum collections. She has exhibited at the Venice International Art Exhibition, Salon d’Automne in Paris, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Global Chinese Ink Painting Exhibition in Hong Kong, Taiwan Art Biennial, and the National Art Exhibition of Taiwan. In 2024, her artwork was even included in an MOE–approved Taiwanese elementary art textbook in 2024.

アーティスト｜作家｜詩人

1970年、台湾・台中生まれ。現代美術家。

豊かな文学的素養と多領域の創作経験を背景に、詩的な哲学を筆墨の語彙に融合させ、思想性と霊性を併せ持つ独自のスタイルを築く。

上海視覚芸術学院・当代水墨芸術研究院および中国美術学院・跨メディア芸術学院高級研究クラスにて学ぶ。

かつて自転車で世界五大陸四十カ国以上を巡る旅を三年間続け、十数冊の著作を発表。長年にわたり芸術・文学コラムを執筆してきた。彼女は、生命の経験を詩と絵画の二重の表現へと昇華させ、2014年に本格的に芸術創作へ転身して以来、「真理への詩的問い」を核心理念とし、筆墨の流れを通じて存在・時間・心の境界を探求している。

主な創作シリーズ：

• 〈海洋心象シリーズ〉：深い海の体験をもとに、自己と身体感覚の探求を描く壮大な叙事詩。

• 〈道隠シリーズ〉：東洋文人の精神を継承し、書の性質と多様な技法を融合させ、現代における「道」の微妙な変化を表現。

• 〈思網シリーズ〉：個人の生命経験を起点に、デジタル時代の記憶と時間意識を問い、水墨・テキスト・インスタレーションを融合した瞑想的空間を創出。

2020年より山間に移住し、雲に包まれた環境で創作に専念。

作品は国内外で高い評価を受け、美術館に収蔵されている。

ヴェネツィア国際芸術展、パリ秋季サロン、東京都美術館、香港全球水墨画大展、台湾美術新貌賞、全国美術展などに出展。
